Located just outside Fort William on the Road to the Isles, we are the ideal stopping point before making the journey North, South, East or West or an ideal base for your travels throughout the Highlands.

 

By Road

We are located off the A830 road to Mallaig, just 3 miles outside of Fort William town centre in Banavie, next to Neptune’s Staircase. If you are travelling South down the A82 from Inverness, at the Ben Nevis Distillery Roundabout, take the 2nd exit (signposted Mallaig).

From the south, follow signs for Inverness, through Fort William, until you reach the junction of the A830 (signposted Mallaig) where you will take the 1st exit.

At this point continue straight on through the traffic lights and the next roundabout for approximately ¾ mile you will then cross over the canal bridge and you will then see the junction signposted Banavie to your right. Follow the bend in the road and you will see the Hotel and car park.

By Rail

From Fort William Train Station, take a taxi to Banavie. Taxis are available from the station. Alternatively take the Mallaig train to Banavie Station. The hotel is a short walk up the canal bank. Local buses run frequently, take the Corpach bus and ask to be let off at the Banavie road end.

By Bus

Citylink buses run frequently from Inverness, Oban, Skye, Glasgow and Edinburgh to Fort William bus station. From Fort William bus station the easiest way to reach us is by Taxi, which you will find next to the station or take the Mallaig train to Banavie Station, where you will find us just a short walk up the canal. Alternatively local buses run frequently, take the Corpach bus and ask to be let off at the Banavie road end.
